Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Paseo app and the Paseo Premium subscription. By using the app you agree to them. Purchases on iOS are also subject to Apple's terms, including Apple's standard license agreement (EULA).

1. What this service is

Paseo is an app with audio lessons in Spanish. It helps you learn the language but does not replace a teacher or an official certification.

2. Free lessons and subscription

• The first 5 lessons are free. You choose them yourself.
• Full access comes with the Paseo Premium subscription: monthly for [monthly price] or yearly for [yearly price]. The purchase screen shows the final price for your country.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period, at the price of the current plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings: iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Paseo. After cancelling, access remains until the end of the paid period.
• Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. AI answers can contain mistakes

The app uses AI to check answers and voice hints. AI can be wrong: it may accept an incorrect answer or reject a correct one. This is a learning aid, not professional advice or a guarantee of results.

4. Rules of use

• Use the app for your own learning.
• Do not copy or redistribute lessons, audio and texts, do not try to bypass the free-lesson limit or payment, and do not overload the service with automated requests.
• Watch the road while you walk. You are responsible for your own safety when using the app on the move.

5. Intellectual property

Lessons, texts, voice-overs, design and the Paseo name belong to us or our licensors. A subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them in the app.

6. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for outages caused by third-party services or the network. This does not limit consumer rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

7. Changes

We may change lessons, features and these terms. We will tell you about significant changes to the terms in the app. Subscription prices change under Apple's rules, and you will receive a notice from Apple if your consent is needed.
